This realization on SAP BPC allows the MIVB/STIB to have a budgeting application for CAPEX, OPEX and FTE. It replaces the current application which showed lack of user friendliness and functionality to allow an efficient budget and reporting cycle.

Integration of SAP BPC data with the Corporate Data Warehouse

After the budgeting and the consolidation project at bpost, SAP BPC data needed to flow back to the corporate data warehouse so that it could be analysed against the actual data by a large user community. The technology used was Microsoft stored procedure scripting to retrieve the data from the cubes and send it to the Microsoft data warehouse. Via BusinessObjects Webi, the users can now analyse data in a more efficient manner.
