KU Leuven was looking for a quick win to transform various spreadsheets that supported personnel planning into a single and harmonised business process.

The scope of the project was to install a new Executive Committee & Board of Directors reporting, implement a new bank statement reporting app, develop a region & product reporting, create an integration between Management & Consolidated accounts and ensure the correct migration of historical data.

This realization on SAP BPC allows the MIVB/STIB to have a budgeting application for CAPEX, OPEX and FTE. It replaces the current application which showed lack of user friendliness and functionality to allow an efficient budget and reporting cycle.

This project aimed to replace and enhance the existing budgeting and planning process on TM1. CFObelux played the role of implementing not only SAP BPC but also suggesting best practices to optimise the existing process.

The overall objective of this project was the replacement of the reporting and budgeting process in place for LSCM (Logistics and Supply Chain Management) which is currently done in Cognos Finance. This project has enabled Bridgestone to decommission Cognos Finance Mid-2012 for this process.

The project consisted out of a standard consolidation application with 2 differentiators: we added an analytical dimension to allow segmentation and on the other hand the inter-company matching application, an integral part of the consolidation on BPC, allows for matching on invoice level.
